Pre-Trip checklist
General maintenance of vehicle
As a Host, you are responsible for ensuring that your car is maintained regularly and is safe for driving.
Up-to-date documentation
Your road tax and insurance must be valid especially during an active booking to avoid possible inconvenience to your Guests. That being said, please do not keep any important documents (including copies) such as your IC, insurance cover note, car grant, etc inside of your car.
Cleanliness
You are also responsible for ensuring that your car is cleaned regularly before and after a booking. We also recommend that you the sanitise the interior of your car in between bookings.
Fuel
You are responsible for ensuring that your car has at least 50% fuel level before a booking start time. If a delivery partner is delivering the car, take into account the distance as well so the Guest will have sufficient fuel when the car arrives at their location. This can help to create a better experience for the Guest as they don’t have to worry about having sufficient fuel to start their trip.
After you have accepted a booking request, here are some tips that you can follow:
Decide on a time and location for pick up (eg. 17 October, 9am, Pavilion Raja Chulan Entrance) with the Guest, if you are doing self-delivery/self-pickup.
Conduct an inspection with the Guest (self-pick up or delivery) or with the delivery partner (if you opt for TREVO delivery service).
Be sure to take photos of the condition of the car (one photo for each side, and two photos for the interior, front, and back).
Verify by checking the IC and driver’s license of the Guest or the identity of the delivery partner.
Conduct a thorough inspection
Take lots of photos to document your car’s conditions before it is passed to the delivery partner or the Guest. Take at least 10 pictures including the exterior and interior of your car. This is to safeguard you as a Host and act as proof if you need to file for a claim after the booking ends.
