Documents required when listing a car

In general, we would need to upload the following documents and details regarding your car:

1. Photo of valid car insurance

2. Photo of valid car grant

3. Photo of road tax

4. 3 photos of the car's exterior

5. 3 photos of the car’s interior

6. The car's make, model, and year of make

You can get a digital copy of your road tax on the Road Transport Department’s (RTD) portal or MyJPJ app.

How long will it take for my car to be approved?

We will usually need up to 48 hours to process your car listing.

I don’t have my car grant.

If you don’t have the original car grant (i.e. it is with the bank), you can get a copy of your car grant from the bank and upload it on our application.

My car will be managed by another person. How do I go about it?

We will provide you with a Letter of Authorisation (LOA) that indicates the person who is authorised to manage the car on TREVO on your behalf. Kindly reach out to Customer Support via live chat or email help@trevo.my to request for the Letter of Authorisation.
