Organic car Hosts are subject to TREVO’s control of rental rate (or Daily Rate) setting through a guided rental price range provided by TREVO. Car Hosts can use this range to decide their own rental prices during the initial process of listing their car on the app.

Commercial Hosts or Professional Fleet Providers are free to decide their respective rental prices.

How do I change my car's daily rate?

During the initial car listing process, you would have been prompted to set your daily rate based on a predetermined range that is based on your sum insured value. If you want to discuss potentially changing your daily rate, please use this form.

What are the minimum and maximum daily rate that I can set for my car?

Your listing’s daily rate is determined by the Sum Insured Value of your car. Below are the formulas to calculate the maximum and minimum rates:

Maximum Daily Rate: Sum Insured Value (RM) X 0.004 = Maximum Daily Rate
Minimum Daily Rate: Sum Insured Value (RM) X 0.0015 = Minimum Daily Rate.

Note that if your Sum Insured Value is below RM40000, the minimum daily rate you can set is RM70. If your Sum Insured Value is RM40000 and above, the minimum daily rate you can set can be more than RM70.

We recommend that you also compare the daily rates of similar car models in your area and set a competitive rate to attract potential bookings.

You can only set the daily rate once during the listing registration process. If you’d like to amend your daily rate, use the Host Request Form https://community.trevo.my/host-request-form

What is the minimum daily rate that I am allowed to set?

The minimum daily rate must be RM60 if your vehicle’s Sum Insured Value is below RM40,000.

I want to set my daily rate to be above the allowed car price range from the insured value, can I?

Unfortunately, you’ll not able to set your daily rate above the allowed car price range (0.40%).

What will happen if I set my daily rate to be above the allowable range from the insured value?

There could possibly be limited to no promotional activities for the car which you have set to be above the allowed car price range.
