\nActive hosts average RM1,000+ per month. The top 10% of hosts earn RM2,400+. Your earnings depend on your car type, daily rate, location, and how often it's available. You set your own daily rate (from RM70/day minimum) and keep 60Β75% of each booking depending on your Shield tier. Payouts are processed every Friday.
\nMost cars in good condition qualify. Your car must be under 10 years old (mandatory), have valid road tax and comprehensive insurance, no vinyl wrapping, and not be declared Beyond Economic Repair (BER). Classic cars are accepted with valid certification and prior TREVO inspection.
\nTREVO Shield (powered by Allianz) covers damage during the sharing period. Your Shield tier determines your deductible: RM0 (Shield 60), RM400 (Shield 65), or RM2,000 (Shield 75). You must report all damage claims through TREVO within 24 hours Β never deal directly with the guest. Claims are processed within 7Β14 working days.
\nYes, you need P2P-compliant insurance through TREVO Guard (Allianz or Etiqa). New hosts get a 3-month grace period Β during this time, TREVO's liability is capped at 50%. TREVO Shield premiums are fully paid by TREVO; you only cover your base comprehensive motor insurance. You must migrate to a P2P insurer at your next renewal or within 3 months, whichever comes first.
\nPayments are processed through the TREVO app and deposited directly to your linked bank account. Payouts happen every Friday (or next business day if Friday is a holiday). Processing takes 7Β14 business days. You receive a monthly earnings breakdown by email in the first or second week of each month.
\nYou control your car's availability in the app Β block out dates anytime. If a guest has already booked and you have an emergency, contact TREVO support immediately via the in-app live chat. Note that host cancellations less than 48 hours before a booking may incur a penalty of 1 day's Access Fee.
